In 2009 K Trans WA bought together a partnership between Fleetwood, the TWU, State Government Departments of Western Australia, South Australia, Victoria and itself to provide needed emergency accommodation units to the fire ravaged Victoria.

Arranging the units with the assistance of Fleetwood, and with the assistances of the TWU to assist in the transported logistics across three states, K Trans WA donated the fleet of 5 Prime Movers and dollies, drivers and 10 trailers to transport the accommodation units to the required destination of Flowerdale.

The driver along with Keith who drove the lead truck were moved by what they saw when they arrived. Total devastation and the need for assistance was the feeling they came away with.

Since then K Trans WA have relocated a number of similar units for other companies in other locations.

Keith said on his return from the devistated Victorian Bushfires;

"If you can't help your fellow Australian in need then you need to get out of business".
